Listings & Verification: How does PropertyConnect verify listings? Every listing must include a valid Trakheesi (DLD) permit number, which is checked against RERA registration data before the listing goes public. Agent listings additionally require the agent's RERA BRN; private (pocket) listings require Title Deed validation. What is a Trakheesi permit and why does it matter? Trakheesi is the Dubai Land Department's permit system that authorises a specific listing to be advertised. A valid Trakheesi number means the listing is legally permitted, the property is real, and the advertiser has the right to market it. PropertyConnect rejects listings without a valid permit. Privacy, Safety & Compliance: How does PropertyConnect protect my privacy? Contact details (phone, email) are gated by your visibility settings — you choose whether they're visible to everyone, logged-in users only, or only to people you've connected with. Public previews show the listing but mask contact information until a viewer signs in. Can I report a fake or fraudulent listing? Yes. Every listing has a report option in the menu. Reports are reviewed by the moderation team within 24 hours, and verified violations result in listing removal and possible agent strikes or bans.
