How do I verify that a Dubai property listing is genuine?

Brokerage advertising of a Dubai property must carry a valid Trakheesi (DLD) permit number issued by the Dubai Land Department (owner-direct listings inside the platform are verified against the Title Deed instead). On PropertyConnect, the permit number appears on the listing card and on the listing detail page, and brokerage listings are published only after the permit is validated against RERA records (owner listings are verified against the Title Deed instead).

To verify a listing yourself: copy the Trakheesi number, open the Dubai REST app (or dubailand.gov.ae), choose Services → Verify Listing, and paste the number. The official record will show the same property type, community, price band, and listing agent. If any detail does not match, the listing is not genuine.

On PropertyConnect, agents who have completed verification display an Agent Verified badge with their RERA BRN, and owner listings are checked against the Title Deed before publication. Treat a missing badge or permit as a reason to verify independently rather than as proof either way.
